  I feel that I preprared farily well for my PhD. During my undergraduate studies I did a research project in a very similar area to that in which my PhD is. That project gave me experience of working in a research environment which was extremely useful. Also, being aware of the research area before starting my PhD gave me a bit of a head start and also helped me with the interview!
